Where did it come from?

It's "usable", so don't expect best compression / power from the engine...

i got it during a huge trade when i bought my SA a couple years back. ive just been having it sit as a display since then. im just debating selling it ifs actually usable and getting some truely trashed housings for displays.

so i need to measure the dept of the flaking or the dept of the chrome?

also, its a T2 housing.

If it's a pre-86 rotor housing, the wear isn't unusual.
Now, since it's an FC housing, I would worry.

What's worse is the fact that it looks like it's grooved on both ends.
This means the housing was flipped around - almost guaranteed the housing was reused at least once before.

I wouldn't bother reusing it unless you don't have any options.
