Rotary Rebuild Criteria Question

I have the manual for Rotary Rebuild criteria and specs, but are these specs applicable to *all gens all years*? Is there a more *all encompassing* tech manual out there regarding the engines?

you will get a more helpful answer if you specify what engine you are rebuilding.

I mean like, my engine is a mix of 12a and 13b. Im not really asking about anything specific, but more so are the specs and tolerances across all 13Bs the same, or do different gens of 13B have different tolerances for things like seals, housings, and rotors. Like are the specs laid out basically the same fit everywhere

the engine specs kind of evolve over the years, where the street cars start using the race car clearances and tolerances, to the point where the FD engine is just built to the competition specs.
Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals

there is a competition prep book, and then the FD manual has similar specs. also if you look in the Japanese engine manual they have for the FC its a lot more detailed than the English books

it's a 13B. When the two engines were made concurrently, all the way back to 1974, they used the same parts that were not engine length dependent, up to and including the 12A Turbos and 12A 6-port engines. (the GSL-SE engine had end housings from a 12A 6-port and an intermediate housing from a 12A Turbo)
