replacing fuel pump on 1st gen-1979

I'm looking at buying another rx7 since i miss my 86 gxl and never really got to drive it as much as i wanted,but anyways i'm looking at a 1979,my question is how do you replace the fuel pump on it???

its mounted on the underside of the car, between the driver side seat and the rear wheel well.

Follow the fuel line from the carburetor back until you see a cylinder with two wires hanging from it. LOL

and the plug to it is under the driver side storage bin.

yeah its where they said although they didnt mention it is covered by 1 or 2 shields you will need to remove to even see the thing.

yes i kind of figured what it looked like since i've looked it up on napa's website,i just figured with about four feet of snow all around the rx7,it might be best to know where I could look for it,when I go to look at the car,but thanx for all the help.

also make sure to take note of where all the hoses re-attach to! the guy i sold my FB parts to removed his and didn't know how to hook mine up haha
