rebuilds vs reman

hi everyone. first post here. actually my engine blew and i'm currently deciding wethere to get a rebuild or a remanufactured engine. can any give me the pros and cons of each. i'm leaning more towards the remanufactured. from what i've heard rebuild's use the existing parts which are smaller from wear and tear where as a reman is completely new. but thats just hear say

rebuilds are the way to go. Mazda is specs are too flexible for remans anyway. Rebiuld your engine with good used within spec parts and you'll be fine. You could also port it now since its in pieces

The remans do not come with all new plates, housings or rotors. Mazda reman is just a rebuilt engine, often times only replacing the parts that are needed to get it running again.
