rebuild question(metal oil rings)
Is it neccessary to replace the metal oil carriers during a rebuild? Anyone know the min. tolerance before they need replacing?

the shiney spot should be less than .020"
normally you can reuse them, but i almost always use the competition outer springs when i do. mazada trix has the springs for like ~$6 each. you'll need 4.
