why chance it.

break the entire engine down, clean and inspect, reassemble.

Best case $100 for the o-rings
Worst case $750 for all new seals and springs

well the bad would be if you dont keep the engine compressed quite all the way you might lose your coolent seals on the other rotor. ( i have actually heard of what your saying being sucessfully done belive it or not

then as far and longivity you still have all your old used parts so you still have all the wear on those....

if your TRUELY positive only u need a rear iron and side seals ( i honestly cant tell how you would know this with out looking inside....) then this could work...

but a gasket set is only about 150 dollars, if you take note of where each side and corner and apex seal were on each rotor and what side, u could just disasemble the whole engine then put it backtogether with new coolent seals, and your new iron. this would also allow u to inspect all the parts in your engine and make sure they are in spec.
