Pulling out the 12A

I posted this in the first gen specific forum also...
I'm just wondering how much effort is required to pull the 12A from a first gen for replacing seals and such. I mean for a non-mechanic guy who doesn't have much experience working on cars. Will i need an engine hoist even though its a smaller engine? will i need to get under the car? whats goin on.

thanks

Get help if you do not know if you need to get under the car or not . Yes you need under the car. If you disconnect every thing two or three good strong friends can lift the motor out with a chain or rope and wood 2x4 . A lift will allow you to do it alone if you are smart but if you do not know if you need under the car or not well who knows . Good skill to you .
