Problem With my 12A

I have a 12a that seems to not be getting any gas. when i open the carb up and pour gas in it fires for a few then dies. changed fuel pump, new lines. anyone know of a link to rebuild carb? Or anyone know any other problem that this sounds like?

I think it is probably the carb. Rebuilding it would be the best thing to do. Or go with an aftermarket carburetor. I switched to a weber setup and it is awesome!.
Anyway, back to your carb. You could take off the top 7 (?) screws and pull off the top. Make sure there in no water or gunk in the float bowls. Make sure the float level is correct. The fuel should be about 1/2 way in the little window on both sides.
Good luck and keep us updated. The 12a motor is awesome. Don't give up on it. Once you get in running and tuned well they are really fun.

seems ive discovered the problem. after reading a thread i went huntin. seems the mounting of the fuse panel damaged the relay. so problem solved. hope anyways. this forum is more helpful than a rotary expert mechanic. Thanks rx7club.
