Probably nowhere near big enough... unless they've changed things, Pro-Stockers use the smallest radiators that will keep the engine from overheating as it idles in the pits, like VW Scirocco radiators or similar.

I concur - don't try running these on a street car, especially in hot ambient temps.&nbsp They do not have the cooling capacity for the engines.

Are you sure about that? The last time I was at Summit they had a couple in the scuffed/dented items room, and they looked barely larger than a heater core.

Yes it holds more water ,i have one here that i am trying, maybe the fans are too small, after a highway run i have to add about 3 quarts of water, going back to a stock radiator. I also checked for leaks had none.

london, which rad are you talking about?

GRI-2-28185-X
GRI-2-58185-X
And what about this one
SUM-380648

Do you have an empty weight on your radiator? And capacity?
Over on Mazspeed, boosted12a has this one
GRI-2-58185-X and says it works fine.

The measuremeants indicate that it would fit perfectly with an under air/oil cooler in the stock location. I've been thinking about this for a while.

took it out

I took it out cause after a highway run,i had to add about half a gallon of water , even used up all the water in the bottle,it was not leaking ,guess the surface area of it was too small even though it holds more water.

Maybe there were air pockets in the motor. Did you refill it and drive it smoe more? If its not leaking, then I dont see how you have a problem.
