power steering out

I took my power steering pump out and I dont want to put it back unless i have to. What do I do with the rest of the power steering eqipment. ??? Drain it plug lines ???
??? Dont drain it and plug lines ???
??dont drain or plug. I have no clue.

I'd try to sell the pump if I were you.

On my FD, my warranty company just paid out $1100 for a new one for me.

update

I have been told by servel people that I just connect the two line down near the rack with a small piece of hose. that way it wont try to fight you when you turn. It will just pass back and fourth freely.
