power loss during hard left turn?
My 91 RX-7 convertible has been completely losing power during hard left turns. The power only cuts out for a second. Its happened to me about 4 times now. Any ideas? Thanks

This -might- be fuel cut.
On 3rd gens (very similar to your 91), if the fuel tank is low, and you turn very hard left, the fuel sloshes around in the tank and the pickup sucks up air and you lose power. This isn't really good for the car....
See if the situation is better with a full tank vs with 1/4 tank or less.
If this turns out to be the case and it is a new problem, you might want to look inside the fuel tank and make sure your baffles in the tank aren't separated from the tank body or something...

Thanks for the reply. The first time it happened my fuel was pretty low, in fact I was on my way to the gas station. However, the other three times the tank was at least 1/2 full. Could there be intermittent bubbles in the fuel line from the first incident?
