On my 85 euro, I simply took out one of the grommets, and put a hole into the foam/plastic interior using a large screwdriver on the passenger side (your driver side). I then cut a hole into the grommet and fed my wires through -but it really depends on what you want to feed into the cabin as how to get it there

I ran 8-gauge wire through the firewall on my '91. There is a spot on the drivers side near the top of the engine bay where a large amount of wires go through. I poked a hole in the the rubber and ran it through. I might be able to get pics if you need.
