oil in turbo compressor housing?

I just installed the BNR stage 3 turbos, and everything was working great for about 2 days. then it started idling funny, so i thought it might be a vacuum leak somewhere so i pulled the y pipe off and noticed this greyish oil on the gasket. I got my flashlight out and shined it down into the compressor housing and noticed what looked to be a semi-dried up pool of oil. These turbos are used and i have only put about 15 miles on them. anyone know about the oil buildup and what may have caused it.

Looks like bad oil seals = Bad turbo

But if it a ball bearing turbo and you dont have a oil restrictor on the turbo it will cause it to leak also. Put a Restrictor and you'll be fine

If you still have the crankcase vents hooked up to the turbo inlet duct this is going to be normal. You should route them to a catch can instead.

well the turbo did blow...a kinked vacuum line may have caused them to overspool...so i'm in the process of having them rebuilt......hopefully no issues when i re-install...fingers crossed.
