ID OIL temp sensor location?

i have a aftermarket oil temp sensor. the main question i have is where to mount the sensor. the guage comes with a bung to drill and weld, so the sensor would mount to the oil pan. i thought that maby i could buy a fitting to adapt the sensor to one of the oil cooler lines. but i want to know where or what i could do please pm me with any questions or comments

thanks guys

You can drill and tap the head of a banjo bolt where the oil cooler line is fed into the motor
