oil pressure issue

car is a 1987 turbo 2

I just installed my spare engine a few months back and I finally have the time to fix it. I have not been driving it. After the install I have always had low oil pressure while the engine is running, less then 30psi. at inital start i get around 80 then it slowly dwindles down below 30 psi. when i rev the engine i will get around 60. The car does not leak oil

so i was thinking it was either a oil control seal, or the thermo wax is messed up( I don't think i installed it right).

Any thoughts would be great

Hello to my home town, lol.

Your oil pressure readings are quite normal through out the ranges you listed. specs are listed in Section 2 of the FSM. If you don't have a copy, there is a link in my sig to the online ones.

Mine always reads 60psi ever since the rebuild, it has +15k miles on it.
It only goes down to 30psi when it seems to idle at 500 in the summer.

oil system mods and oil viscosity will change the numbers a bit, but his numbers (as described) do not reflect a problem.
