oil injector jets

i recently built my engine up and in the gasket set i received 2 small brass jets encapsulated in a black rubber surround, these jets also came with my new rotor housings i'm pretty sure these jets fit in the oil metering holes on the housings, only thing is that the housings already have some jets installed but they do not have the rubber surround but are just brass type jets similar to carb jets.i imagine that the jets with the rubber surround fit on top of the factory jets that already come installed in the new housings ,anyway i have already put them in and they fit bang on but i'm not 100% sure if what i've done is correct and theres nothing in the FWSM to help.the old housings jets are slightly different in appearance but i've noticed that when the rubber surround jets are installed on top of the factory installed jets in the new housings they take up the void area between the oil metering nozzle and the factory jet thereby making a sealed channel for the oil to travel into the housings,am i right? help appreciated thanks.

I'm bringing this back from the dead.... Used the search function and found this. The only difference is the engine I have does have brass looking fittings down in the hole on the housing but the do not look like the jets with the spot on it for a flat blade screw driver or jet removal tool. One side still had the rubber piece the original poster spoke of but the other side did not. I don't want to screw up my engine by assembling the omp line wrong. Where can I get another oring with the encapsulated ring in the bottom of it? This has got me royally confused, the fsm does not speak of this at all.

It is a revision from the late 90’s.

Mazda found that on deceleration all the oil in that space above the jet would be sucked out (when not required) only to have the space needing to be filled fully before it could again lubricate the housing wall during the next heavy acceleration.
