Oil filler neck
So I’m modifying a few things on my S5 t2 motor and one of the things is going with an s6 intake manifold. I’ve run into clearance issues with the oil filler neck, and want to see if I can block of the stock location and fill oil in the cas location. I’ll be using a crank trigger so the stock cas will be removed. The other thing I would like to know is can I use the stock cas location for a breather/crank case vent?

I had a similar clearance issue when I did FD UIM on my FC. The solution is to use the FD bottom piece for the filler neck (the one that press fits into the iron). Now no problems.
Thanks, but I'd like to keep the section under the intake for potentially mounting coils, or just making it cleaner. I also was thinking since I was going to remove the CAS, having its location used for adding oil would be nicer than just a block off plate.
Ok, thanks. Are you thinking the sloshing to the front will exacerbated because the vent is in the front and not from the middle of the motor?
