oil blowing out of filler neck

i bypassed my pcv valve, and i'm using a oil catch can. i blocked off one of the nipples from the oil filler neck, and routed the other one to the catch can.. on some days, there will be no oil in it at all, then others, like today, it got filled up in a matter of about 30 miles worth of driving(lots of boosting) is there a prob? is it hooked up wrong?

Because you blocked off all the breather holes, its pressurizing the sump and blowing oil out the only place it can go. Open up one of the holes you blocked and it should be sweet...

As long as your catch can is vented and the lines are large enough there should be no issue with capping the other.

If you want to reduce the amount of oil carryover then move your vent to the top of the filler neck; my crank vent is drilled and tapped into an aluminum oil filler cap and tubed to a catch can with a breather filter. Many track rx7s have copied this arrangement to reduce oil loss during hot laps.
