not been started in a while

hey im new to this site.I got a series 1 rx7 with a series 5 turbo conversion i broke the gear box in it a while back and it took me a little while to get all the funds back to get new goodies and now im ready to start it up. I just want to no what the best way about starting the motor up if its been sitting for a while

Make sure to check all fluids (oil, coolant, transmission fluid, ect.) May need to put some fresh gas in it. Try starting it, if it wont, pull the plugs and try the ATF trick (search the FAQ if you dont understand)

If it has set for 4-6 months or more, add some Sta-Bil and Heet to the fuel, then top it off with some fresh fuel.

Charge battery, you would be suprized at how many people come into autozone and buys a starter, relay, bunch of ignition stuff... later to find out that their battery was dead because their wife left the lights on over night.
