So it's worth putting one on then? I know i probably sound like an idiot here but i never really had any idea what these things do, and have seen them on alot of cars. How do u install em on a rotor?

Well, technically, yes, its worth it.

but those cans usually cost quite a lot of money and make it not really worth it (if u have tons of dough thats another story)

you can make your own with pretty simply stuff. you can probably make one for under 10 bucks.

They are not worth it. You don't have much oil fog at all when compared to piston engines.

Also you pretty much already have one inside of your engine. After oil flows through the middle of your engine there are cavities that routes the oil back to your pan. Oil fog is greatly diminished.

I've seen people with the see through greddy oil catch cans and it took years before you could even notice any build up.

Thats because no one really seems to have any knowledge with them and rotarys.

Its just dead weight to me. I had the owner of shook motor sports explain to me his opinion on why an oil catch can on a rotary is almost useless.

Actually, they do. But this is such an old topic that anyone that knows anything isn't going to retype the info from old threads on the topic and the others have moved on.

Search the Race section for catch can if you want info on this topic.

You really don't need it for a street car.
