no start 3rd gen
hey guy's! a guy in my car club cant get his 3rd gen to start!!
i have tried : pull plugs and clean (turn motor w/o plugs)
jump the batt.
what else can he do!
p.s. the plugs were soaked in gasoline!!

You'll need to replace the plugs, gasoline soak ***** them up. I've been there. Also, crank it a few times w/ the plugs out (AND IGNITION STUFF CAPPED/DISCONNECTED TO PREVENT EXPLOSION!). Then put in some new plugs, make sure you ARE getting a spark, and give it another try. If you're getting gas, spark, and air, it can't help BUT fire. Check the plug wires and make sure they haven't fallen off the coil. Leading ones will affect starting. Good luck!
