I just bought a 93 R1 w/ some mods and for the first 1500 miles the car seemed to have relatively normal oil pressure (~30psi) at all times. Now the car has no oil pressure at idle and sometimes really low under load. Then the oil pressure will shoot back up and stay at about 20-30psi at idle and go to about 60 under load. Any thoughts? Is this bad? What are normal oil pressure readings?

The sending unit is notoriously bad. Clean it or get a new one. Mine used to be at 0 at WOT (FREAKY!) until I cleaned it.
