nitrite re-coating

I know that Mazda nitrite coated the rotor housings for extra life and lapping the housings will remove the thin layer of nitrite. So my question is, can you re-nitrite coat the housings after a lapping?

The coating is .005 deap so a light lapping is fine . Some shops can do the coating ,I think my mechanic found a shop in Murfreesboro TN. that said they do nitrite coating .

You nitrate BEFORE getting the end plates lapped... to get the required finish.
