Need to know where the 6port actuators are!

I'm a new member to this forum and let me tell you that I think it is an excellent place for all RX-7 enthusiasts!

I love it!

On to the question: I have an 87 N/A with a pre-silencer, down pipe and racing beat canisters out back. My presilencer has a connection for the factory pipe running to the engine for back-pressure sensing. I understand that all 6 ports won't open until the backpressure reaches a certain level (which with my set up it will not). How do I make the extra ports open for the added power and second: WHERE ARE THE ACTUATORS THAT OPEN THEM (out of frustration of searching for them).

Thank you!

ok, the acutators are two small pump looking things the have a moving rod wicth opens up the ports. They are located right on top of your exhaust manifold.
technically your actuators should be working if you have the hose for them connected to your pre-silencer.
if you just leave them open all the time, you will lose some torque in lower RPM and gain couple of HP in higher rpm's.
