Cool Need Help !!???

Here's the problem. I just finish putting in my motor and gearbox In my 1987 turbo II Rx7. Everything is 1987 turbo II, And I know the motor is a good motor because It came out of my Best Friends car. Just to get that out of the way. I'm getting spark, plugs and wires are new. Car Cranks but does not turn over unless i spray a little starter fluid in the upper intake manifold. Then even after it starts it shuts off within 3-5 seconds. Now understand that I am extremely new to this rotary business, da only way I got my motor and gearbox in the car is because i can read. LOL. But seriously my car has a walbro 255 lph fuel pump, hks fcd, hks supermega flow intake, brand new clutch i just put in the car alone with the motor and gearbox, 2 1/2 inch exhaust piping from turbo to stock barrells. My car has no ac, no power steering, no air pump, no abs, no heat. Oh and if it helps, I know that my fuel pump is working. If you could help me out with my car I would greatly appreciate it. Also guys my afm is plugged up. Also if its the injectors that arent working I want to know what wouldn't make the injectors not work. I checked the feed line and its spraying. Also where would i ground my injectors, if there is any. Thanks alot.

Well, obviously there's no fuel getting to your engine. And since you said the feed line is flowing, the injectors are the next most likely culprit.

Injectors themselves almost never fail, so I would guess some sort of wiring problem with the injector harness/ecu...?

Ae you running a stock ECU? Are you sure everything is wiried correctly?

Well, check the EGI fuse and the ecu/injector wiring...

If the fuel is flowing in the lines, but there's none in the engine, it's pretty much got to be the injectors not firing...

And since injectors themselves almost never fail, either the ECU or the wiring has a problem...

Hey earlier today I pulled off the upper intake manifold and went straight to the injectors, now i pulled out the primary injectors and i gave the injectors constant power from the battery and they were working. the metal peice on the bottom was going in and out, so i guess thats a sign that the injectors are working. Now after that I tried the injector clips and there was no type of power going to them because I have an injector tester it has a light in it that lights up when there is current going to the injectors. But there was non, any ideas?????

Well, carfully check the ecu harness and all the connectors, starting with the timing signal from the distributor...
