n/a engine from a 84 rx-7

i have a 87 base n/a and my engine overheated and i was wondering if it would be possible to swap a 13b from a 84 rx-7 the motor is carburated but the 87 is fi.could it be done? and could i use the fuel injection from the 87 on this motor? thanks.

From: Formerly in the Ass end of the pacific.
Would be a major PITA. I'm am not too familiar with carbies but I would imagine they will not thave the fuel injector bungs in them so it would be pretty much impossible to swap them, even the GSL-SE FI engine would be pretty much impossible to swap because it only has 2 injectors.
