my fc is pissin me off

ok heres tha deal today i started puttin in my new seats in my fc and i decided to take it for a test run with just the driver seat in. anyways when i got home my car didnt wanna start. and i have that fuel cut off switch and it starts but it takes a longs time of me crankin it. so i know its not flooded. and when it does start i have to keep on the gas and if it drops under 3-4k rpms it just dies no matter if im all the way on the gas and when i do run it it doesnt go anyways it takes forever for my revs to start to climb. so if anyone has any ideas to whats goin on pllllllllllease email me at ISMAEL9_1_1@hotmail.com or I.M. me at ChronicSleeper84 on AIM. and im just since ive had the car i havent changed the oil becuase the first owner had it changed for me so how much oil does a rotory take anyways. i know its a stupid question but hey i wanna keep it runnin ohh yeah i paid 600 for it its a gxl 86 with 35000 miles on it. and yeah theyre original NO ITS NOT A ROLL OVER it sat in a garage for 4 yrs only being turned on but never a daily driver and if you want ill email you a pic of my odometer please help me im sooooooo lost

Welcome to the forum.
You need to check out the 2nd Gen Specific forum. There are some FAQ's and much other good reading stickied at the top of the threads.

Your current problem could be a vacuum leak anywhere between the air flow meter & the lower intake manifold.

Check your voltage on the battery then maybe check your starter. That is what happened on my SE about a month ago, bad starter.

inspec all the plastic hoses, pieces, and vacuum lines for possible cracks. Also check both intake manifold gaskets, as they are notorious for leaks as they get old.

I highly doubt that your timing is messed up unless someone screwed around with it.

To me your problem sounds like your tps needs to be adjusted or replaced, just check it and let us know. After you do that then we could rule that one out!

it sounds to me that your running on one rotor. no power, slow acceleration, dies if u let go of gas peddle, doesn't fire up like normal, but instead it just keeps cranking, and when i floor it, after about 10 secs, it'll fire up... but not like it normally does.
I have a loud exhaust system, and i can hear the difference in sound frequency when i keep it at 2000rpm. it just sounds like a fuggin subaru.

check your spark plugs, do a compression test.
had this problem a while back, it was just one of my plugs not firing. same symptoms.

do a search for running on one rotor
trust me, if you know your car well, you'll be able to tell. I could even feel the car idling incorrectly.

Maybe your fuel cut off switch is causing the fuel pump to get low voltage from improper wiring. I'd just pull the EGI fues or rebuild your injectors.

A car with that low of miles and never being ran, it is possable that your engine could be low on compression possable with one rotor like Moss said. Reason could be multiple things, maybe the owner didnt start it as much as he said he did and the rotor's apex seals got stuck to the housing and when it was cranked for the first time it broke the seal. It is always a good idea to lube it and hand turn it before cranking it when a car sits that long. I would have a compression test done on it, do it yourself or bring it to mazda.
