Must Wait To Start 2-4 hrs

Ok, So here it goes. My 93 FD3S I just replaced the engine in it But before i did I had somone do a compression test every since they took out the plugs, The car won't start everytime it takes 2-4 hours to start the car again you have to not turn the key at all for 2+ hours i was wondering if anybody has had that happen to them before or could know what it is car runs like a champ just getting it to run when i want is the problem Thanks

sounds like a issue I had. Upon disassembly of the engine I found out I had bad side seal springs. Just a thought.

dirty injectors leaking fuel and it floods out.
apex seals to tight in groove and get stuck when they heat up(more of a problem with after market seals)

How does doing a compression test before the rebuild relate to the current issue? Do a compression test, sounds like you have low compression which makes hot starts terribly difficult.
