Msd 6a and L T split
Hi guys,
I am currently running a msd 6a to 2 msd blaster 2 coils wired in series. I have a custom 12a turbo setup and am going to be running 12psi with water/meth inj. this summer.
My question is about what i recently heard about the msd 6a. Ive read that the box can affect the Leading Trailing split. Or in others words cause retard or advance of your timing, even though its not meant for this. I am going to be running 15 btdc total advance leading with about 10 degrees of split. Well it could be bad if the box decided to retard/advance my leading timing and have the trailing fire at some randon split degree. The trailing is still stock controlled with the distributor.
Does anyone know or had a msd box affect the split?
Thanks for any input or suggestions
