Unhappy Maybe timing problem

I buy this mazda RX7 TII 91 whit an adaptronic, a full HKS exhaust and a custom intake.
I put back the stock ecu and intake because the map run at 1bar with stock turbo and stock interculer and in Italy we don't have good rotary tuner. The problem is that: since I reinstall the stock ecu the engine start to do a rattle noise from the right side; I immediately thought at the WG flappering but look solid and I try all the test for check if is ok. I run the car at least for 100Km without racing it but some times the noise come out. today I try to reinstal the adaptronic with base map and i put the BTDC of the old map (the map at 1bar) and it was at 51°!!!!!
I instant realize that the rrattling noise can be the engine knock......is correct ? the stock ecu can run this timing? i'm realy scared to have destroy my engine?
I'm going to check the timing douring this week. Can someone explain me better my situation? I'm new in this field and I'm only 20 yo.

It possible.

You need a timing light and to lock the timing in the adaptronic to check it. The factory marks are at 5 to 20 degrees After TDC, you can measure forward of them 1mm circumference per degree if you want to mark 0, or 5, or 10 degrees advance. Has someone removed and replaced the crank angle sensor or adjusted it?

Thanks for the reply. unfortunately I do not know if it has been removed or moved (it would feel that it had been moved slightly towards the back with respect to the center of the buttonhole). however I will try to check the timing as soon as possible. my question is if I do the static alignment and reposition the crank sensor in the center, can I use the stock ecu?
I don’t trust too much the adaprtonic base map.

You should be able to, I have never used one with factory ecu but you should be able to find resources on what is required to reset it.
