a name out of my past... Kevin Draper, i believe, owned Majestic Turbo and built lots of custom turbos... among them the turbos for the Racing Beat Bonneville 20B that lost traction shifting into high gear at over 200mph. i worked w Kevin as we went thru the process of sizing my two TO4s on my FD.

when turbos made a big jump in efficiency around 08 i switched to a single and lost track of Majestic.

Thanks for the info Howard. I just picked up an FD a week or two ago and it has a single Turbo conversion with a Majestic turbo and I haven't been able to find really any info on them and nobody I've talked to has heard of them. I was told by previous owner that it's not a cheap eBay turbo or anything (I believe him based on other work on the car/his other car and just the type of person he is), that they were up there competing with Turbonetics at one point..? Spools nice, pulls hard I have no complaints just wanted to know more about them.

Majestic is based out of Waco, IIRC, and they do a lot of everything. They don't make turbos, they rebuild and modify. Some of the Audi guys like them because they are familiar with the large, weird old KKK turbos like K27s (also used on Porsche 930s and some 951s) and K29s.
