(hybrid FC turbo's) Anyone heard of ANDRESTURBO
There is an ebay seller selling rebuilt hybrid s-4 turbo's, though I think I have seen them as s-4 and s-5 units in the past.
They seem to have the similar specs to the BNR units, anyone heard of this guy?
Do these look like there any good?

I did call him, not only is Bryan knowledgble, he is also a nice guy.
As it turns out BNR does make a Stage 4 hybrid for the S5 for 100 less than the S4 version.
I will probably go with them, the goal is 350 WHP while passing CA smog.

Response to questions from andresturbo:
"Hello,
yes we can do the 60-1 P-trim T04B upgrade for the s5 turbo II.
we port the wastegate to allow better boost control.
to get a p trim wheel in the turbine housing we machine out the turbine housing to fit the wheel.
the CHRA is completely new Garrett with 360 degree thrust bearings.
all turbos come with a 90 day warranty.
thanks,
Paul"
I think I am going to go with BNR.

Yea, the BNR warranty is 1 year so thats a lot better than 90 days. Or at least I know its one years for most BNR products. You wont find anyone that knows more about rx7 turbos than Bryan....he's been eating, sleeping, living rx7 turbos for years and years now.

The reasons I am going with BNR is because I called him and he really knows what he is talking about, this guy wouldn't give me his number, which I asked for in my email to him. The waranty is also a big plus. And in terms of cost for an S5, he is only about 150 more. The extra waranty is easily worth that much.

I just found out some info you guys might want to know. I just noticed on the auction that this Andres Turbos is here in Alabama so I asked around to see if anyone knew who they were because I havent heard of them. They are actually the same as MJ Turboshop and a few other names that they have used on Ebay. Thier real name is MJM Turbos from here in Alabama but they basically go thru tons of fake names on Ebay. Thier stuff sucks and yea they have a VSR machine but good luck finding someone there that knows how to use that damn thing. They dont balance anything (especially thier Ebay stuff) they just slap **** together and push it out the door. They make thier own crap internals and bearings that hold up prob 92 days and they just take the McDonalds approach to turbos. They have a gagillion old *** busted up nasty turbos behind thier shop and when someone orders something they just go thru the chra with thier crap parts, then they dont even sand blast the alum housing and stuff, they just spray paint over it.
That is why they wont give you thier phone number, they dont want people on Ebay to know thier real name.

I don't know about that as MJTurboshop is in Cali I believe at least that's where my brother-in-law had to send his turbo to. I have talked to them before too trying to get them to send the turbine housing back, no luck mind you. They do have a site though at.

Hmmm, its not them then since it says they offer a one yr warranty (MJM would never offer a 1yr warranty). I would be real suprised though if they arent connected some how, especially with the names so similar. Basically what MJM does is get people to just sell stuff out of thier house on ebay under a bunch of different names and MJM pays them a commission and drop ships it using the return address label with the sales persons home address and ebay name. I dont think they are all from Alabama, but I know a few have been.
Anyway...I hope you get that correct turbine housing man.
