Lucas Oil Products
AFTER SPEAKING TO SEVERAL ROTARY OWNERS, I ASKED THEM IF LUCAS OIL IS ALRIGHT TO USE IN A ROTARY, THE GUY WITH THE 1ST GEN SAID IT WAS OK THE FOLKS WITH THE 2ND GEN SAID ITS NOT OK. WHATS THE REAL STORY?

contact lucas and ask them. do you have the stock oil injection system? if so, then you realize you'll be injecting this into your engine. If you've disabled your MOP, then I don't really see why you couldn't, except that I've never seen anyone use it. Most people just use 20w50.

Yea don't be shy, send them an email. I'm sure they'll answer the question since with the rx-8 out, the rotary community is larger so they can make money from this.

Although, air was introduced into the oil during that test.
when the oil pump is sucking, its straight oil so it wont be as bad as it was in the test.
all in all Lucas would be ideal for grabbing the last inch of life your motor has and for a cure to low oil pressure.
besides that, dont bother
