Low boost all of a sudden.

1993 FD3S R1, Single Turbo
Was running around 18-21 psi, now I'm only getting 13. I have NO OTHER SIGNS of any problems, boost just stops at around 13psi. Just happend all of a sudden. Any ideas?

boost problem

have you checked all your couplings for leakage? maybe a sealing surface is giving way at that pressure.

Most likely a vacuum leak. 3rd gens are known for them. But this would also cause a bad idle. If there are no other problems besides lack of boost, them there might be a problem in the wastegate or blow-off valve.
