Hey everyone I have an 88 n/a and the shifter seem sto be very loose. Someone told me I was missing some parts. Anyone happen to know where I can find schematics for the shifter. Or know of what be wrong. Thanks for the help.

I will bet you money that it's the shifter bushings. Do a search on "shifter bushings" and I'm sure you'll find what you need.

Or you can invest in a C's shifter and solve it all

you probably need the shifter cup

it's a little cup that supports the ball (bottom) of the shifter

also consider getting the groove bushing

mazdatrix has them both, and makes the cup out of alumnium

it's a $20 fix as opposed to a $150-$200 short shifter
