List of Quality Body Shops

Haters be keyin my beauty. Owell Im getting a body kit anyways. My cars black and I want it repainted black. I was wanting some suggestions body shop wise. Ive heard horror stories about Maaco.

but yes, judging by every Maaco job i've ever seen, stay far away from them.

To get a good paint job you will need to pay at least a few thousand $. The majority of cost in a good quality paint job is the prep work. To properly prep a car takes many hours and hence the high price. Paint is only a couple hundred of the cost and paint is all you get when you go some place like Maaco. Very little prep besides tape. If you want to do a bunch of sanding and part pulling yourself then you can get a half way decent job at maaco.

so true. so true. many moons ago a friend of mine had his car done at Maaco and they fully painted his exhaust and there was a lot of overspray on some of his quarter windows and tires. i couldn't help but to burst into thunderous laughter when he said that they told him he should have taped the stuff himself if he didn't want them painted. un-bloody-believable ...
