OH jdm s5 turbo 2 not starting?!!! PLEASE HELP!

ok so i have an 88 gxl that i gutted and replaced ALL the wiring with s5 wiring and then dropped in a JDM S5 Turbo2 engine , i havent checked compression yet but i do here the typical whoosh ,,, whoosh ,,, whooosh sounds when i crank it ,

if someone could call me i can explain it soooo much better or pm me your number and i will call you !

Are you running the S5 Metering Oil Pump? Check it and everything that goes to it very carefully. If the S5 computer is not reading a signal somewhere It will not run. Or if you still have an S4 MOP on there.

the car seems to flood b4 it can fire, i took spark plugs out , pulled the EGI fuse (one that shuts off the fuel pump and cranked it a few times to get the gas out and soon as i put the plugs back in i got one good ignite but only one time then it flooded out again ... imma check compression today to see how that is , hopefully thats not the problem ...


is it true that if the AFM is not working it wont , it wont spark? friend locally who has a t2 jdm told me that ???

nevermind the electrical part of my car ... the front rotor has NO compression so a rebuild is in my immediate future .

well turned out to be low compression engine so i dropped in another and YIPPEEEE it fired right up ... but still dies if i dont keep it at 2k rpm or feather the gas pedal??? any reason this is doing this? i have a whole spare engine for parts but i would like to know what would cause this

please somebody with over 1 years exp. with turbo rotories please give any advice! thanks

Nevermind i am a god apparently , cause i fixed it! lol was a simple hidden vacuum leak in the inlet tube betweed the AFM and Turbo inlet . lol

and i found other small things i didnt see b4 but nothing to major
