Iron Housings

Does anybody know if the iron housings are interchangeable between Gen II and GenIII?

just to add to what Latin270 said, they are indeed interchangeable in the sense that the engine can be assembled just fine, but keep in mind the possible mounting issues depending on what chassis you plan to use.
