Hi guys, i was wondering if somebody could shed some light before i get my hands dirty for no reason. I've read numerous threads about people stuck in limp mode because of MOP fault codes showing up, but none of them ever seem to be intermittent, or if they are then they never put what the final solution was!

My '93 JDM import is showing these 2 codes...



As a result i keep hitting limp mode, but not constantly..... Sometimes i will be able to make a journey of 10-15miles and it'll be fine, sometimes its stuck in limp mode constantly, some days seem worse than others.

So my question is, could my problem just lye with the wiring/earth/plugs etc and just need a good clean up, or is it more than likely that its still gunna need a new metering pump?

From looking at the pump from under the car i can see its gunna be a pain in the *** to take out so dont wanna take it out to clean it all up if i'm going to end up taking it back out again just to replace it so any experience would help me really, pretty please?
