Intermittent low oil pressure

Hello! Just wondering if anyone has had any similar issue with perhaps something of the oil pressure setup on FDs. On occasion, at whay seems like completely random, my oil pressure will start wigging out. Almost none at idle, 30-50 at 3k rpm, won't climb above 60 on a pull. This eventually does resolve itself. Whether it be on that same drive a few minutes later or after sitting a night and going out the next day. Any insight is appreciated!

what gauge are you using to indicate this so called problem?
Stock or aftermarket?

The stock sending unit is well known to fail, you can try cleaning the connector first as it is directly below the oil filter and gets filthy from oil dripping on it during filter changes.

Hello!
yes it is using the stock oil sending unit and gauge. I will try cleaning the connector this weekend and will report results. What are my options if this continues to plague me?

If tests come back unacceptable, is there a preferred vendor that has a more "reliable" sending unit over others? I worry because obviously it's good knowledge to know that your engine is receiving proper oil pressure
