Unhappy idleing to high

hi

I have an 87 t2. and i cant get it to idle under 3k rpm what are some adjustments i can do to get it to idle lower is there a sequence or something ive messed with the bac adjustment and the tps and thermo wax thing in back of the throttle body and now it won't idle dose anyone have an ideas or is there a wright up on it somewhere?

there's an idle adjust screw on your throttle body that should lower it

You may also want to check the tension on the throttle cable. I had the same thing happen to me and by loosening the throttle cable my problem was fixed.
