Idle problems

Just changed my uim and tb. When I first started the car my rpms shot up to 4000k. Then I adjusted a set screw on the back side of the tb. Now I idle at around 2000k. Thought I put everything back just the way I took it off. Not sure what's going on. Need help !!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance.

You must have a huge vacuum leak.

My guess would be at the manifold.

Spray starter fluid at vacuum locations to see if the engine bogs.

What could it be if it's not a vacume leak?

You NEVER adjust the set screw on the back of the TB, your basically holding the throttle blades slightly open to hold an idle and unless your motor has been raped of everything this should not be necessary.

The BAC helps the idle when it needs to fluctuate i.e. A/C kicks on, the ECU should take care of the rest after you get the top screw on the TB in the ballpark.

If you can't get it to idle this way then there is something wrong, like a vacuum leak, or a crack, or whatever
