more power more problems , depending on how much of a shot you throw in there , you would need a clutch
I have heard of people throwing 150 shot on these engines but i wouldn`t try that if you have no previous experiance with nos
start with a simple 50 shot which is usually safe if done right , the key here is not to let it run lean , but too rich and it wont run
use a single fogger if you want an easy installation , but if you have the money and the ***** you should get a direct port , while this is more time consuming to install and more complicated to tune , in my opinion is also the safest and leads to more power increase
again be safe and DON`T do anything stupid like letting it run lean , if needs be get a wideband or some other way (use dyno) to make shure you A/F ratio is correct and you shouldn`t have any problems
Also if youre engine is too old i would not recomend this , lots of older engines tend to have weak seals and springs , running nos could put some stress on these weaker parts
if in doubt run only the 50 shot it should be enough without stressing much
Once again ...be safe and dont do anything stupid!!....and enjoy

I really would not reccomend running NO2 without a suitable aftermarket ECU.

Unless you buy a wet kit that controls its own fuel injector.

swap in a t2 motor and drivetrain. Best thing you can do imho... I've had 7 fc's and one of my BONE stock t2's with a vacuum leak only pushing 4.5 psi was able to smoke one of my NA's with a raceing beat header, straight pipe to single straight through muffler and cai.
Also you could swap in a GTUs rear end. Acceleration is crazy with that.
Those would be your cheapest and safest upgrades, I wouldn't mess with nitrous on one of these motors.

Yes, it will.

Just change out the speedo gear in the transmission

the best thing to do would be a TII swap indeed , but by far not the cheapest and fastest thing to do
dont get me wrong i am no fan of NOS either , if i HAVE to play wiht it i will but i rather play with turbo also

Just take your time or else this is going to lead to another fed up car. Horsepower that comes cheap = unreliable. Stripping down your car is a great idea that you can do yourself without worrying about the dangers of NO2
