I have a 89 turbo. I tried installing the hks turbo timer with the harness that goes with it. I have the ebrake wire taped in. When i turn the car off it still just shuts off. Any ideas?

 

Check the wiring again. On my friends Supra it will turn off when you let the undo the ebrake and it is still on as a security measure. You might have wired it backwards and now it will turn off when you pull it up.
