hesitation at 6000 RPM's

i just got an 89 rx7 N/A i had to put a new clutch in it and when i did i drove it and a CEL showed up(17) feedback system so i put a new O2 sensor in it and fixed that problem. now that i thought that it was running right i tried to see what the car had for power so i took off and when the engine reached 6000rpm it began to hesitate and will not climb any higher.

so far i have replaced the fuel filter, plugs, boost sensor, and tested coils.

thanks for the help
wes

make sure your secondary injector plugs are properly fastened to the injectors.maybe the vibration of the engine at that speed causes it to come lose. that is what i can think of...

hope that helps

yep, you're secondary injectors are plugged, and you might as well get a little bigger ones while you're at it.

There is no need for larger injectors on your car. It'll just make you run entirely too rich and you'll most likely loose power. But I would get the injectors cleaned and check your grounds, then try again.

i did a fuel pressure test and it was low so i replaced the fuel pump with a walbro 255lh pump and the car drove much better, and it will climb past 6k, but there is still sometimg wrong, the engine just doesnt climb right past 6k and when it does and i shift it back fires. i guy that had it before me put full racing beat exhaust, header, presilncer, and cat-back.

thanks for the input
