What you describe sounds like your tranny is getting near its rebuild time.
After getting a quote for an automatic tranny overhaul, maybe compare it to a manual tranny swap.

it pulls fine it dont act like its sliping when you push the gas only during the shift or if you kick it down in passing gear it acts like its in neutral then you have to back off and it shifts back intoo drive its fine

You did the best thing you could by changing the filter.
When engaging a gear, the actuator servos have to go almost full stroke before what’s left of the brake band finally grabs the clutch.
That’s the time delay you’re seeing.
Check out the transmission section of the on-line FSM at the link in my sig.
You may download & print whatever you need.

The Cause of Death
Think it could just be the clutch packs being worn?
Either way, if it is an internal transmission problem, you might just want to go 5 speed.
Also...check the line pressure. If you can jack it up a bit, you can get it to shift harder.
