Please post up some more information so we can help you, a big help will be telling us what year is your car?
What have you looked at so far regarding spark?
Timing is set for both leading and trailing - hence two colors, you have to set both.

If you don't have any spark, you won't be able to time it. You either have bad coils (both), wires (all), spark plugs (all), a bad distributor, points, cap, rotor, or ignitors). The service manual has some testing procedures. Do you know if it's a points dizzy or electronic? What year 12A?
