HELP 12a full bridge smokes like crazy

I just did a full bridge on my 12a with a 48ida. i’m using the racing beat spec jets etc. my car smoke like a grey smoke at idle and when i let off throttle. my best guess is it’s running extremely rich bc i can turn my jets almost all the way down and it still idles. I have a regulator at 4 psi so i know it’s not the fuel pressure. Does anyone know what this could be i’ve been fighting it for weeks now?

float level? what idle jet do you have? if you have a smaller one, you might try it

if you're getting lots of blue clouds after deceleration, no bueno. that's not a jetting issue but an internal leak issue. if so i would figure perhaps oil control springs got inadvertantly installed backwards or aggressive porting into the oil seal track.

personally i've never had even pig rich cars smoke more than very light white/blue clouds. doesn't look grey/black to me indicating fuel unless you mixed way too much premix into your fuel, which is technically a possibility. are you premixing? using a bit more than 1 ounce per gallon of fuel? personally i never run more than 128:1 2 stroke in the fuel.

I thought i might be burning oil as well to but my oil has not droped and when i said it smoke when i left off throttle it’s more like it’s always smoking. I used the racing beet jets they recommend and i did a full bride but i made it a little smaller for reliability. It might be the 2 stoke as well i premix 1 once a gallon and i also had old gas and 2 stoke in the tank sitting for like 5 months. i added 5 more gallons of gas with a once of 2 stoke each. and it still smokes.

I also forgot to mention that it won’t rev pass 4k to 5k. I’m running stock dizzy with no vac advance. i still have the mechanical advance though. Will running rich stop my car from revving up?
