FD: Quick Ignition Switch Question

When I turn the key to on position, fuel pump turns on every time, but the car doesn't crank. Would the fuel pump turning on pretty much eliminate the ignition switch?

By the way it finally does crank after a couple of times, starts immidietely after starter starts going.

You have electrical resistance somewhere in the circuit. Could very well be the ignition switch, this seems to be a common problem. Search the 3rd gen section and you should be able to find some more useful info on this.
