Hi! Just got my FD back together after years of sitting and months of hard work bringing her back to life after sitting neglected so long. Anyway! To the issue at hand....

start fine idols fine everything is good tell about 2500-3500 then she just cuts of like she’s not getting fuel then she might come back on then right back off. I’ll try and get some video footage, I feel like it’s fuel issue like low pressure or clogged filter or **** in the tank clogging up the pump pickup screen. Going to start by draining the tank letting it get dry then hit it with the air hose and shop back get the tank clean as I can. Then changed the fuel filter and see if she’s better. If y’all got any other good ideas for things to check.

 

So at least some of my issue is the fuel tank... it had fuel left in it and sat for years. Here was a bunch if rust residue and crap clogging up the pump pickup screen. So I got some cleaning to do And a fuel filter to replace. On the upside my float was sticking so this give me a change to work on that as well haha.
